Gaudeamus 22 book fair, in Craiova, starting today!
The Gaudeamus book fair, already synonymous with spring in Craiova, arrives in our city starting today, on the occasion of the 22nd edition. At the same time, this is the first edition of this year, on a national level.
Everything will take place, as usual, in the foyer of the "Marin Sorescu" National Theatre, until Sunday inclusive, and you will once again have the opportunity to enjoy the magical universe of books, editorial surprises, but also the events included in the fair. More than 30 publishers' stands and more are waiting for you to see, learn and leave the book fair richer in spirit. And, why not, refresh your home library with the newest titles from Romanian literature and beyond.
From book launches, to debates and a unique launch of postcards with writers from Oltenia, we are sure that you will find something to your liking at the book fair. The complete program of events can be found here:
Book lovers should know that they can visit the fair from Wednesday to Saturday, between 10.00 and 18.00, but also on Sunday, between 10.00 and 14.00, with public access being free. The Craiova edition of the Gaudeamus Radio Romania Book Fair will take place both in classic format and online, right on the fair's official website, at the address below, and the recordings of the transmitted events will remain in the edition's archive, for viewing later on.
A large part of the events physically hosted in the foyer, as well as information about the new editorial appearances and promotional campaigns of the fair participants will become accessible, during the fair, also to those who cannot physically come to our city.
