Craiova, ready for the holidays! Christmas Fair opens its doors in less than two weeks

The Craiova Christmas Fair opens its doors to another successful edition, on November 14, to once again offer visitors the unique experience of the fantastic universe of Christmas. This time, the theme chosen for 2025 is "The Nutcracker", with a unique prop, applied to both the decorative elements in the perimeter of the fair and the houses for traders.
The event, which will last until January 4, 2026, will take place in six areas of the center of Craiova, as follows: "Mihai Viteazul" Square - The Story of the "Nutcracker" (Candy Land), Doljana Area - Carousel Christmas, "Frații Buzești" Square - Traditional Christmas, "William Shakespeare" Square (the National Theater esplanade) - Santa Claus' Land, Theodor Aman Street - Christmas Street Food; English Park - Toy Land.
Over 2 million light bulbs and light decorations will be able to be admired in this area, as well as unique carousel-type houses, the spectacular Christmas tree in "Mihai Viteazul" Square, which will have the shape of a toy store, the stage-tree in "Frații Buzești" Square, where the artistic moments will take place, and thousands of toy-type decorations that will complete the story setting. This year, Santa's sleigh will also be present, which will fly in the evening from the Mercur Center building, to the delight of those present.
