#NationalCultureDayInCraiova. How and where we celebrate it

On January 15, the Day of National Culture is celebrated in Romania, chosen in such an exceptional way, being the date of the birth of the poet Mihai Eminescu. If last week we had fun with sports and exercise, well, now it's the turn of cultural institutions to be visited by us. Where we go and what we do on National Culture Day, see below.

"câine cu om. câine fără om”, at the National Theater

The play “câine cu om. câine fără om”, directed by Radu Afrim, calls you for a meeting on January 14, in the I.D. Sîrbu Hall, from 17:00. A disturbing and meaningful show like this cannot be missed, so get your tickets either online or from the ticket office of the "Marin Sorescu" National Theater.

A visit to the Art Museum and the Oltenia Museum

If you do not have plans for the weekend in which the National Culture Day is celebrated, we recommend you to take a tour of the two museums in Craiova. You can start with Casa Băniei - Ethnography Department of the Oltenia Museum, then continue with the History - Archeology Department, ending the journey with the Natural Sciences Department. Just two steps away, the Art Museum awaits you, impressive both in terms of its collections and in terms of architecture and appearance.

A play for young and old, at the Theater for Children and Youth "Colibri"

If you have children or if you still feel like a child, we don't see why you shouldn't spend the weekend surrounded by fairy tales and stories. So keep an eye on the people from the "Colibri" Children's and Youth Theater and choose a play to go to. It never hurts to get a little out of our universe to enter, for a few hours, in one in which the magic that never ends.
